Their current strategic importance is such that these elements have now been labeled as \u2018energy-critical elements\u2019 or \u2018technology-critical elements\u2019 (TCEs) and initiatives at national levels are underway to secure their availability in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>NOTICE, a\u00a0EU COST action focused on the study of TCEs run from April 2015 to April 2019.
